The scenographic effect created by Drop can transform the space: the vertical movement impressed on a wall makes it slide downwards until it disappears completely; but it can also stop before, just below the ceiling, creating a horizontal cut of light and air; furthermore, if the wall continues to descend, it can become a balustrade. With its variable course, the vertical movement separates two spaces whilst integrating them, just like a theatrical gesture: with a simple command the wall is activated, involving both the stage and stalls, internal spaces and landscape.
